Vintage shell planter/vase/vessel, stamped "Van Briggle". Van Briggle Pottery studio was established in colorado in 1901 and went through various changes of ownership before it closed in 2012, at which time it was the oldest continuously running studio in the United States. Famous for their beautiful matte glazes, as pictured here.
